Asthma My mother lived with asthma for 30 years or more. She continued to smoke, sometimes three packs a day. My sisters and brothers smoke, but I never did. I'm married to a smoker and I'm always concerened about the health of my loved ones who smoke. I preach to them every day, that they could suffer from asthma just like mom did. Mom died Jan of 2001, from complications due to years of taking meds such as prednizone, sustaire, and others. She was 59, but looked 80. Two weeks ago, I went to the Doctor with a bad cough, results astmatic bronchitis (my age 33). My husband and sisters now smoke outside. So ironic, there lifestyle affected me for years, and I wasn't aware of it, now I affect theirs. Sincerly, Hard to breathe |
