Our two hours

Well, I met this guy a year ago. He is a photographer I've worked with once and seven months later, he started talking to me online. We talked for a few times and I thought he was a nice interesting guy and he looked pretty good so when he asked me to go on a date with him, I said Yes.

He was on a trip at the time he asked me so I waited for a week for him to get back to NY. Once he got back, he left me a voicemail, telling me to call him. I did and we set our date on a Sunday. Then on Saturday, he called me to cancel the date saying that he was sick. I heard from his voice that he had a bad cough so I agreed to reschedule.

I wasn't sure that he would call back but on Thursday of that same week, left me a voicemail again (cos' I'm never by my phone) to ask if I wanted to go out with him on Saturday.

I called him back and agreed to meet up with him that day. When I met him, initially, he looked like a decent guy, but then I felt an initial "bad vibe" from him. He seemed to have no sense of direction of what he wanted to do with me on the date. It was as if he never planned it to happen. So I suggested that we start walking. While he walked, he decided that we should go to a coffee shop. We went into a starbucks and we just had conversation. He and I cracked jokes here and there and about an hour and a half later, he said "Well, I hope we hang out again sometime." I saw it was a sign to leave and I said "Well, this is somethign someone say if they want to go." he said "What else you want to do?" I didn't know. So the date ended in only two hours. I was so looking forward to it and it lasted only two hours.

When I got home, I texted him saying that I must've talked too much and the date was probably boring. He assured that No and he was a good listener and that he was sorry he gave the impression he was bored because he had no plans. I was disappointed and text him that it was okay if he was and that it was the shortest date in history.

I don't think I could even be friends with him. I felt greatly disappointed.
