Mama's Motivational Pledges Week of November 1st I pledge to keep my work life and home life in proper balance. I pledge to eat more whole grains at meal time. Week of November 5th I pledge to go to regular check-ups with my doctor. I pledge to eliminate unnecessary nibbling when preparing meals and unhealthy on-the-go snacking. I pledge to cycle three times a week. Cycling is a great activity for heart health and it is a good time for personal reflection. I pledge to not eat just before bedtime. I pledge to avoid excessive alcohol and caffeine. Week of November 12th I pledge to avoid wearing tight-fitting clothing, particular at the waist. I pledge to make note of exits and exit routes whenever I enter an unfamiliar place. I pledge to immediately wash my hands after giving care to someone else. I pledge to stop storing my medications in the glove compartment of my car. I pledge to admit when I am wrong and live up to the consequences.
