Earth Month Celebration Features Support Groups

Pasadena, California -- December, 2008

Joining a support group has become one of the most successful ways to cope with problems in your personal life. A support group provides you with a group of people that have gone through the same trauma and are seeking the same support. Support groups are often held at hospitals, churches, and parks, and are free to join.

Support groups have long offered companionship and information for people coping with diseases, handicaps, and disabilities. In most cases, support groups are mediated by a doctor or counselor, and sometimes by people who are sympathetic to the problems that others are facing. Support groups are important because they give people with little or no hope, hope for the future.

We'll teach you how to #LiveTo100!
