Mama's Kitchen Dilemmas


 

Crockpot Sour Cream Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of sour cream
  • 1 large bunch of chives, chopped
  • 1 tbsp of fresh dill
  • 1 cup of vegetable broth
  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups of thinly sliced potatoes

Directions:

  1. Layer the potatoes on top of thee chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Mix the remaining ingredients together and then pour them into the crockpot.
  3. Simmer on low for five hours.

 

 

 

Crockpot Chicken Broccoli and Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 4 cups of broccoli
  • 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups of Velveeta cheese
  • 1/4 cup of white wine
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Simmer the chicken breasts, garlic and broccoli in 1 cup of chicken broth and white wine for 20 minutes.
  2. Add the cheeses and an additional cup of chicken broth.
  3. Simmer on low for 4 hours.

 

 

 

Crockpot Omelet Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp of butter

Directions:

  1. Simmer all the ingredients on low until the eggs puff up, usually for 1-2 hours.
