Plus, when you have high levels of cortisol running through your system you’re more likely to gain abdominal fat, so in the face of your higher calorie diet, this can really create a problem.

Increased Energy Levels
Finally, the last reason to get more sleep each night and to place this at a high priority is because it will help to boost your energy levels on a daily basis so that you never miss a workout session.

If you’re tired and are feeling run down, this will definitely influence how much energy you have to carry on the workout session and that will then lead to less than optimal results.
